As from tomorrow the mobile phones which does not have a valid IMEI number will stop working, you should get an IMEI number for your handset.

You may contact your nearby service center to install an IMEI number on your handset. The cost is only around 200 Rs.

International Mobile Equipment Identity or IMEI is a number which will help network operator to identify your handset uniquely.

You can see your cellphone IMEI number behind your mobile case (behind battery) or on the cover (packing) of your mobile. Most branded models will have these numbers where us some duplicate mobilephones will lack this number.

There is no need to worry if your phone doesn't have an IMEI. You can get one for your mobile by paying some fee.
